Another off-topic Hawaii Five-0 post

Less violence and gunfighting in episode 2 of Hawaii Five-O than in the pilot. Don’t get me wrong, there’s still plenty of violence. It’s just not the only thing going on this time.

Also, Alex O’Loughlin was shirtless and wet within the first 3 minutes of the episode. Glad we’re not objectifying him or anything.

(Not that I am opposed to looking at Alex O’Loughlin. I really don’t mind it at all. I just feel like if we’re going to complain about the objectification of women by the media – then we should also take note of times when we’re objectifying men. Like now.) Read the rest of this entry »

Most epic episode of Glee. Ever.

Season 2, episode 2 of Glee:

Uptight school counselor Emma is back after being noticeably absent last week, sexy ER/Full House star John Stamos makes his Glee debut and … oh yeah … it’s the Britney Spears episode!!

But back to John Stamos for a second. Santana: “Can I just say that you are the hottest dentist I’ve ever seen?” John Stamos: “I get that a lot.”

This week’s episode was titled “Brittany/Britney,” which meant Glee club’s resident spacey blonde cheerleader Brittany took center stage for the first couple songs.

First she sang 2001s Slave 4U, which is not my favorite Brit song ever, but the medley of iconic Spears costumes (the tight red Oops bodysuit, the nude Toxic diamonds, and the live yellow Slave boa on her shoulders) made the whole thing more than worthwhile. Read the rest of this entry »

Mustafa’s Chuck appearance disappoints

(Skip to 1:36-1:43 for clips of Mustafa from the episode.)

Isaiah Mustafa is totally awesome. And Chuck Bartowski is beyond awesome. So it stands to reason that putting the two of them together would result in so much awesomeness it would simply be too much to contain.

You’d think so. Right?

Isaiah Mustafa (The Old Spice Guy)’s guest appearance on Chuck was cool I guess, but it was definitely not epic. Read the rest of this entry »

What I’m Watching: Hawaii Five-0

Long before I first saw the premiere episode of CBS’ reboot of Hawaii Five-O, I already knew that I was going to love the series.

You see, Hawaii Five-O stars Alex O’Loughlin.

And I adore Alex O’Loughlin … like a lot. Like probably a little too much. Read the rest of this entry »

TVD: Ep. 3 “Bad Moon Rising”

Season 2, episode 3 of The Vampire Diaries, as promised.

I said earlier that I wanted the evil vampire/Elena look-alike Katherine to be in this episode. And she was. For like 3 seconds at the end. (But that’s okay, because it means she will totally be in next week’s episode.)

This week had some very cute Stefan/Caroline scenes – with him acting all big brothery and teaching her how to  be a good vampire (don’t attack people, only feed on cute bunnies and other furry woodland creatures, and the like). Read the rest of this entry »

TV Premiere Week (I’m so behind!)

Confession: I am very behind on my TV watching. It feels like every single show on the face of the planet premiered this week. And I haven’t been able to watch them all. I’ve had to work.

Silly jobs, getting in the way of my TV blogging. Who do they think they are? lol

Anyway, I stayed up late to watch/review DWTS for you. And now I’ve made a list of the shows I have been able to watch so far … and the one’s I haven’t been able to see yet – but still really want to. (List 2 will be updated to links with episode reviews once I’ve actually written them.)

Glee – Favorite show to premiere this week. I love Artie, I love Finn, I loved a lot of the songs … and next week is the Britney Spears ep!

Chuck Chuck Bartowski/Zachary Levi, I missed you. But you are back now, and all is right with the world. Read the rest of this entry »

New Season of Dancing with the Stars

DWTS is pretty hit-or-miss for me. Sometimes I watch it, other times I don’t care. Last season, I started out pretty gung ho … then quickly lost interest. But this season’s cast seems pretty interesting. So who knows? We’ll see.

Audrina Patridge – (reality TV actress, MTV’s The Hills). Her outfit for that first dance looked like Big Bird from Sesame Street, … if Big Bird were a girl and worked at a strip club. But she’s a pretty good dancer.

Kyle Massey – (Disney star). Very goofball and fun to watch. And he’s actually really good at dancing. Definitely my favorite contestant this season so far. Read the rest of this entry »
